A collection of inhalers and asthma therapies

Perfection Inhaler

The Perfection inhaler from South Bend, Indiana, was a valved face-mask. It was advertised in 1901 for use with a formulation of creosote, formaline and iodine as an inhalant. It was described as an almost certain cure in first and second stages of pulmonary tuberculosis. For the price of one dollar the customer received a month’s supply.
