Dr Schiffmann’s Asthmador powders (and Asthmador cigarettes and pipe mixtures) were sold by the Los Angeles company of the same name.  The powder was indicated for bronchial asthma, hay fever and spasmodic croup.  It contained stramonium and the poison, belladonna. The advert is from 1899 at which time the company was located in Minnesota.
