Pag inhaler
Riddell’s Super Pag hand inhaler for asthma and bronchitis was a good example of an early nebuliser chamber. The pack included a rubber squeeze ball, a chamber and a moulded face mask. The chamber (shown below) is similar to modern chambers and works in the same way. ‘Pag’ stands for polydisperse aerosol generator. and refers to the fine spray created for inhalation. Dates to 1956.
