The Maw’s portable inhaler was a white ceramic inhaler with black print. The inhaler was a flattened cylindrical shape. It was manufactured by Maw’s in the late 1890’s and early 1900’s. Some examples bear the Maw Son & Thompson name and others, like this one have the Maw Son & Sons mark. The air inlet is in the form of perforations to the lid rather than a separate tube (as in many other inhalers).
