This vapour inhaler from France has been ingeniously designed to permit it to be used for oral and nasal inhalations. The black plastic mouthpiece has two tubes, one of which leads to the mouth, the other to the nose. For oral/pulmonary delivery (top picture), the patient inhales medicated vapour from the aluminium pot and then exhales through the nose. For nasal delivery (bottom picture) the mouthpiece is reversed and the inhalation takes place through the nose, with exhalation via the mouth.
