The photograph is of a Gilbertson’s perfect inhaler. The first picture is an original inhaler with marbled pattern, the second is a replica attractively decorated with a green floral print. The inhaler has a vent on the back and a central mouthpiece. It is understood that Gilbertson’s perfect inhalers were produced around 1890. The rear vent is also seen on the Alexandra’s and Westminster inhalers.
